Biology Major Awarded Fellowship for Undergraduate Research

Junior biology major Megan Rayfield received an Undergraduate Biotechnology Research Fellowship from the North Carolina Biotechnology Center for her work, entitled "Effects of Genetics and Environment on Quality and Quantity of Natural Products". This year-long $5000 grant will cover supplies and a stipend for Megan, who is investigating factors that affect the medicinal properties of American ginseng. Congratulations Megan!
