College courses are more demanding and challenging than high school courses, and you may find yourself struggling to master the many terms and concepts that are part of biology and chemistry courses. The Biology Department supports a tutoring program focused at students in our 100 and 200 level required courses for majors, or our “core” courses. If you are enrolled in Experimental Design, Cell & Molecular Biology, Botany, or Zoology, you may have a tutor attending your class. Even if you don’t, tutors are available for all students in Biology courses. Visit a tutor in Zeis Hall room 320, or check our schedule below for tutor availability. In addition, Learning Support Services has a Peer Tutoring program for students in 100 and 200 level biology and chemistry courses. Tutoring services are free to all enrolled students.
